first time to cinema!

Yesterdey I went to cinema for FIRST teim ever! And I was beary beary excited!
I really wanted to see this movie about a red bear Kuky [kooky] who is tryink to find a way back home.

I had my own seat but couldn't see anythink from there!!!!!! (they really should hev some seat for bears of my size!)

For a while I watched some not interestink endless adverts (really couldn't weit to see Kuky!)

But then movie started! And i really really really loved it!

One of my big hobbies is gardenink. I love my plants espeshielly strawberies! I'm lucky to have whole land of yumy tastink strawberies but it takes lots of time to look after them.

Some of my strawberies are in pots...

...but I must water them regulary...

...so I get yummy tasty strawberies!

Heere are some beans growink superfast...

workink really hard on my garden
but whole hard workink is worth it. I get yumy strawberies!

Last weakend I traveled to Dublin, Ireland.

Me, my Teddy and my friend Azuleo arrived quite late so we went straight to sleep.
In the mornink we had brekfest in bed. Very yummy and very fillink as ther was very busy day ahead of us!

We went to explore Dublin. We saw lovly Cathedral...

....we saw absolutely MASIVE toothpick...

.... explored GREEN letterbox (no one was inside)....
...and of course I visited Guinness store!

We had absolutly fantastik teim! Sláinte!

Tutorial: Dandelion honey. Yum yum!

Now (end of April) is the best teim to make this delicious dandilion honey. If yu're a bear, human, small or big, I'm sure yu will love it!

Yu will need:

250-400 dandelion heads (more heads=stronger flavour)
2 kg of caster shugar
2 litres water
2 lemons
big saucepan
clean jars

Step 1: Pick dandelion heads during the dey while in full bloom. Some recipes say to use 250 dandelion heads, some say 400. I used 400 (yu wouldn't believe how many buckets I had to fill!)

Step2: Put all heads in a big saucepan and boil together with 2 litres of water and 2 thickly sliced lemons for about 15-20 minutes.

It doesn't look very attractive but it smells lovely!

Step 3: Remove from heat, cover with lid and let it brew for 24 hours. Meanwhile yu can prepare yur jars.

Step 4: Next dey filter blosom liquid through a strainer or clean kitchen cloth.

Step 5: Pour filtered liquid to a big saucepan, add 2kg of shugar and stir well.

Step 6: Let simmer on low heat for 3-5 hours. (sometimes it takes longer, sometimes less teim. I done 3.5 hrs and it's quite still runny. But I'm not patient).

Step 7: Pour to clean jars while still hot.

Step 8: Enjoy!

It has been looong teim since my last big trip. I really would leik to visit Mexico as I never been there and this country really fascineits me.

I'm a bit short of money at the moment, so I'm thinkink to start my own byznys. I would leik to atend markets and fairs and sell some stuff I meik (yu know I like art and craft).

So last weekend I visited Teddikea and did buy a stall.

I'm sure yu all know Teddikea- everythink comes flat packed.

So before I start sellink I need to put up my stall. It teiks lots of measurink...
...lots of screwink, gluink and hamerink...

It's almost done now, all I hev to do is to peint it. But I can't decide what colours my stall should be? What color yu wuld choose?

I'm scared that someone will make a wall hook of me!

I'm scared that someone will meik a coat of me!

21st century teknology is obviously popular with TEDDY BEARS!! I'm scared that someone will meik a lampsheid of me!

I'm scared somone will meik memory stick of me!
I'm scared someone will meik telephone of me!

And of curse, my biggest nitemares are ARTISTS!!!! Look at this one Mike kelley. He is the worst!

Tutorials: Pictures for your home

As I promised I hev tutorials for yu- How to meik pictures for yur home or for doll house.Yu will need:

old postal stamps of your choice (I like animals and flowers)
some cardboard
glue
permanent marker
scissors or stanley/craft knife
ruler
double side teip

Step 1: Measure yur stamp for 'frame' makink.
Step 2: With your permanent marker meik a 'frame' around the cardboard edges.

Your frame should look like this:

Step 3: Put a glue on the back of your stamp (or if it's unused stamp-just lick it :o))
Step 4: Place yur glued stamp in the middle of yur frame and press firmly.
Step 5: Use scissors to cut around the stamp, leaving equal frame. Use a ruler if yu use a craft knife.
After cuting it should look like this: (we are almost done!)
Step 6: Use marker to colour sides/edges of your picture.
Step 7: Stick a double side tape on back of your pickture.
Step 8: Stick it to your wall and you are done!
Use more stamps to meik nice collekshn of pictures. I hope yu enjoyed it. Please share yur pictures if yu used my tutorials- I wuld love to see it!

Yesterdey I went to a local market to help out wit seils as they were short of staff. I was in charge of a little stall with crafty bits. It was greit fun and sucsess and I made some moneis for my travels.

And I bought myself litle chest which can store my collection of marbles and a new sketch book.

I wanted more stuff as they where super cute and useful but they were too litle for me :( All stuff has been made by Annabel's miniatures (please sea coments for their contact details).

When I came home there was a surprise in the leter box for me!!!! My steitionery arrived!!!!!

See- proper scisors! and ruler! and stickers! and glue! and clippers! and some pink tube!

(yes, they're a bit fddly but they works!)

So now I can show you my tutorial witch I mentioned few deys ago!
But thats for next teim.

It was reinink today and nothing interestink was on so we stayed at home all dey. By 'we' I mean me and my frend Azuleo who is stayink with me. (He is the Brazilian who lives with auntie K. in Prague).

We were readink, I was studyink and practisink my englisch and Czech because both languages are quiet disaster. I don't know- can yu see any difference in my grammar and spellink?

(If you think i'm fast asleep you're right! studyink is booooriiink!)

Here is my old rockink chair which I actuely never used as its quite big for me. So if my frend, Mr. Mopagi like it, he can hev it .Its in good condishn for its age, in nice green color. It's got removable bucket insted of seat but perhaps cushn can fix the problem?

Riht now I live around the M.'s house. On the shelfs, in the cabinets, under the bed. And I don't leik it. I want to have my own speis, my OWN HOUSE! So i'm doink lots of research and I came acros this great blog CALL OF THE SMALL- full of doll houses inspiration! I'm much bigger than dolls but some stuff is just right for me.

Some humans in the Czech republik (where i'm originaly from) had an idea to open travel agency for toys. Meinly soft toys like me! (Though I'm not toy but proper Teddy Bear!)
Basikly, you send yourself (you- bear readers) or your dearest favourite toy (you- human readers) for a holiday in Prague, Czech Republic. They are planink to open more destinations around Europe in popular cities. This agency will make sure that you see the best of the city, they will teik photos of you, you can enjoy picnic with other softies, aromatherapy, massage etc etc. How excitink is that?!?! Brazil

It's teim to tell you about my trip to Brazil where i traveled from Bolivia. First stop was to see some water falls in Iguazu and I must say waterfalls were evrywhere and it was very noisy! I was fascinated by beautiful butterflyes fliink around me.
Then I stayed in Pantanal for few days. I done some horseridink, saw lots of interestink animals, saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets and met nice ant eater called Fillipe (or Phillipe? Phillipo? ). I also went Pyranha fishink! that was amazink! ( though I was bit scarred!!!) From Pantanal I traveled to Ihlabela. Nice small island and finally enjoyed proper sun and waves. I also had to do my laundry cos it was all smelly and filthy!

Then I moved to Rio for one week. I LOVE RIO!!!!! I enjoyed copacabana beach, visited some galeries and took long walks around nice gardens.

(pineaplle in my size!!!! wicked!)

Rio is also special for me because i met my friend Azuleo who lives with auntie K. in Prague now (but he was born in Rio).
And ofkurz i visited Christ the Redeemer!

(well, this looks more like Teddy the Redeemer)

Next time I tell you all about Argentina.

Now I am beck in UK. And guess what! Here is even more snow than in Czech! So I made new snowbear in my new boots!

Bolivia.

From Peru I traveled to La Paz, Bolivia. My ears hurted a bit as the city was too high! La Paz looked very messy and very unorganised. But I liked the ladies with funny hats. Again, I didn't stay long in the city but traveled south to Uyuni.

I saw nice lakes in my favourites colors- red and green. And I saw nice pink flamingos! Then I saw somethink white. It was EVERYWHERE! I though its snow but it was salt! Shame it wasnt shugar as I much prefer sugar to salt.

Then I visited hotel- again made of salt (not sugar). And then i saw island full of enormous cactuses!

salt salt everywhere!

I liked Bolivia but I didn't enjoyed it. I was sick most of the time and my eyes hurted as well from all that white.
From Bolivia I traveled to Brazil. But thats for nextime. My paws hurts from typink.

what i got in Peru

I did bye this nice and warm hat. Its made of alpaca woool. I like the colors.

Then I got this slipers. I like buying paw-wear as they are important for me. I can't stand up without shoes.

And then i got these 2 terracota pots. They where bargin! But difikult to travel with.I also got bottle of Pisco but the naughty man took it from me at the airport security check :(

Peru

Lima

I arived to Lima on 6th October 2008 and I was sooo tired! I put my backpack to my hostel near Plaza Kennedy and went to explore Lima. I was a bit scared as I was so far away from home and everyone speek diferent language. But I didn't feel that small like I usualy do :)I went on bus tour. I found Lima quite smelly, dusty, dirty and grey. (I'm more countryside bear than city bear). And the trafik was realy bad. I had my eyes open in case I see Paddington Bear or any of his family but I must have take some wrong ways as there were no signs of him :(I bought something sweet, in the shape of sweetcorn and it was filled with toffee! yum yum!
I spent only one nite in Lima. Then I went to Cusco by very big comfy coach. But I book wronk ticket and went via Arequipa. So instead of 20 hours on bus I spent 30! But I slept most of the time.

Arequipa
We stop in Arequipa for couple of hours. I saw some nice ladies in nice outfits, took some photos and off I went on endless journey to Cusco. The countryside was really nice. I saw flamingos and llamas.

Cusco
After 30 endless hours I arived to Cusco. My hostel was very cozy and ruaral and sooo cheap!

I saw some museum and galleries of Cusco (i'm into art, you know) Then I saw ruins around cusco.But there where so many ruins! I saw all 5 and my paws started to hurt.
Next day I went on another tour. To see more ruins. (with all respect to Inkas- I started to be fed up with all the stones after stones).

So break in the pub after all this walkink was more then welkome. I enjoyed Pisco so much!
Machu Picchu

Next day, after squashed train journey, proper sleep and early start I went to Machu Picchu. Glad I took bus as it was sooo high and sooo long journey! It was nice to heer all the history, how it was diskovered, what meant what, what Inkas used what for what. Then I walked on Waynapicchu! It was hard job! Too steep, too slipery, too long, too hight and there were moments where I was very scared! But I made to the very top! And I'm very proud!

Man, I tell you, I realy enjoyed every minute in Peru! It was funtastik experience. Hard but funtastik. And my favourite bit of Peru? Meeting Mr. Llama! Llamas are my second favrite animals. After bears.

preparation for my biggest trip so far

In october 2008 i started my biggest trip so far. I went to South America.
I packed all my esentials in my backpack and i have made list for you in case you go too:In your rucksack shuld be:

- maps
- teethpaste and teethbrusch
- diary/ travel journal
- color pencils
- socks- if your feets get easily cold
- pants/underwear
- sleeping bag
And in your sholder bag shuld be:
- passport
- your Teddy
- some snacks
- some game for long journeys

Keep your sholder bag with yu on the plane so you dont get bored.

I had to buy new camera as the old one stoped to work :(

I didn't need any visa nor vacinations but you check it in case yu do need it. But I had quick eyes opperation as my old eyes foll off :( (picture above- old eyes, picture under- new eyes)

I flew from London to Lima, Peru.
The journey was reeeeeaaaallly long! Luckili I had my game!
I was really nervous and tired but also veeeery excited to start my new adventure. Next time I tell yu all about Peru.

20 yeers of freadom

Yesterday czechs and slovaks were celebraiting 20 years of Velvet Revolution. I don't remember 17th November 1989 as I wasn't with M. yet but I went to support theyr celebration parade on Trafalgar Square.

I didn't take any pikctures of the lantern parade as I was holdink my lantern.

And i saw my old mate Jindrich there as well so we where celebratink together.

Do yu like my new Converses? I love them! And for P. - they aren't 'Vietnamky'!!!

I went to Barcelona in September 2008. And I forgot my shoes! and shoes are quiet important for someone who doesnt have feets! So first of all I went to bye new shoes. They are brown. And they aren't my favourite.

Here im without shues and here with my new shues- free standink!I enjoyed Gaudis architekcture. And his park. And spanish food. and spanish siestas. and everyone were so relax! I love espana!

My favouriest city is definitly Prague! I love its architekcture and most of my bear-mates live there. Oh and beer is veeeeery nice too! yes, Im old inaf to drink!)

I'm scared that soeone will dip me in a concreet and hang me!

I'm scared that some dog will find me and eats me!I'm scared that someone will make a chair of me!

In August 2007 I visited Morocco. It was really hot over there but enjoyed every minute! Espeshily swimming in the sea and sun bathing! I was desprit for a sun tan as I got much lighter here in the UK!

I love photography! I got my old but fully working camera. Colors in Essaouira and Marrakech were amazing! And the smell and all the noise!

I havent meet any local bears but I bought really cool shoes in my favourite collor! arrent they cool?

I rely enjoyed my stay in Morroco! And I would like to return one day.
